Hmm…
So I got a new computer. It’s the tits. I’ve been jonesing for one for a while now and finally felt like I was in a place where I could afford the one I wanted. It cost me a pretty penny and I’m going to be using the single ply instead of the Charmin for a while, but I believe it’s worth it.
Anyways, I am currently applying to grad school and I open Microsoft Word 2007 to begin composing my essay. One of my options, in addition to a new blank document, is a new blank blog post. DUDE! What is with this? Why is technology so freakin’ cool? Talk about a world of seamless integration. Love it.
Anyways, I just wanted to share that with you. Now back to your regularly scheduled blog postings.
Again, I am bad. I am sorry. I was away this past weekend in DC visiting a friend from London on his 21st birthday. He’s interning in London for the summer, and flew in for 45 hours just to celebrate with his friends on his home soil. I had a great time.
In technology news, I’ve recently acquired Dreamweaver and InDesign and have been fervently trying to figure out how to use them. I’ve also have started to explore the world of Linux and OpenSource software. This is all frustrating. Hopefully I can whip out something beautiful on Dreamweaver for this site. Hopefully I can standardize and make beautiful publications in both my personal and professional lives. Hopefully I can use some OpenSource software to create a reservation system for work. Hopefully I won’t become too much of a computer geek in the process. We’ll see. Stay tuned…
P.S. Does anyone have any suggestions where to start (Besides a stiff drink) ??
